Facebook June 16 2010: Facebook Comments Following Original Post: Not so much that I've lost hope in Obama but lost hope that anyone will make a significant difference. Nevertheless, I trudge on... After taking more shots at Obama (deserved or not) in the first segment, last night Jon Stewart echoed what I mentioned here in the second segment of The Daily Show. I guess it goes back eight Presidents, all the way back to Nixon, that this alternative energy thing has been talked about. That's a long time to do nothing. I don't want to lose hope but... ~
Stages of Hope As a sign of the times, the election of Barack Obama revived in me an all but dormant hope that sanity still lurked somewhere in the shadows of a mad world. Through the Facebook photo album "Stages of Hope" I use and abuse the iconic Shepard Fairey Hope poster to express my own hopes as they ebb and flow. Lately my hope in humanity's sanity has seen better days and we'll see what the future brings.
